Javad
My name is Javad and I’m 24 years old. I was born in Afghanistan, but when I was young my family took us from our home to seek refuge in Iran. My family’s living conditions were very difficult in Iran because we were living there as refugees. Therefore we were not supported like the local people.
Many resources were not available to us and I was prohibited from studying. I’ve loved painting since I was a child and for as long as I can remember I’ve always painted. I’ve always dreamed of being an artist, but also an art professor so I can give many people the education and opportunities I never had growing up.
